I stood there,
with my sword in my hand,
covered in blood,
I don't know how long we had been fighting.
Enough for us to be both exhausted.
My enemy lay there before me, disarmed, also covered in blood.
I was fighting for love and my survival.
It was revenge.
This bastard had taken everything from me.
I cocked my head and looked at his lifeless body
- and I cried at what I had done.

I hadn't have needed to kill him
I had needed to Love him
